These terms and conditions apply to all event bookings made with the New Forest Business Partnership (NFBP). By completing a booking you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Bookings

All tickets are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. Where NFBP declines or cancels a confirmed booking other than for reasons of force majeure, a full refund of any sums paid will be provided.

2. Payment

All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Full payment is required at the time of booking. No place at an event will be reserved without payment being received in full. In the event of a failed payment, NFBP will notify the attendee and allow a reasonable period to remedy the payment before releasing the reserved place.

3. Cancellation by the Attendee

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible by email to [email protected].

Cancellations made more than 7 days before the event, or before we inform the venue of the final number, will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.

You are welcome to transfer your booking to a colleague or another organisation at any time before the event, at no additional charge, by notifying us by email to [email protected].

4. Cancellation or Changes by NFBP

In the unlikely event that NFBP cancels an event, all ticket holders will receive a full refund. If an event is postponed, your booking will be transferred to the rescheduled date. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, a full refund will be provided on request.

NFBP reserves the right to make changes to event programmes, venues, speakers or timings where necessary. We will endeavour to communicate any significant changes as promptly as possible.

5. Force Majeure

NFBP shall not be liable for cancellation or changes to events caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, public health emergencies, unforeseen venue failure or closure beyond NFBP's reasonable control, or government restrictions. In such circumstances, NFBP will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the event and will offer refunds where rescheduling is not possible.

6. Photography and Media

NFBP may take photographs and video footage at its events for use in future publicity, marketing materials and social media. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform a member of the NFBP team at the event. NFBP processes event photography and footage on the basis of legitimate interests. Further details are set out in our Privacy Policy at www.nfbp.org.uk.

We will always respect requests not to be included in any imagery. If you have any concerns about images in which you appear, please contact us by email to [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days and, where images are subject to a valid erasure request under UK GDPR, will remove them from future use as soon as reasonably practicable.

7. Accessibility

NFBP is committed to making its events accessible. If you have any accessibility requirements, please contact us by email to [email protected] at least 5 working days before the event and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

8.  Data Protection

NFBP processes your personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. Your data will be used to manage your booking and to communicate event information. Where you have opted in to marketing communications, or where NFBP is entitled to contact you under the soft opt-in provisions of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, we may send you information about NFBP events, services and news. You may unsubscribe at any time. We will not share your personal data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law. For full details of how we use your data, please see our Privacy Policy at www.nfbp.org.uk.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes NFBP's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law. Subject to the above, NFBP's liability for any other loss or damage arising from an event is limited to the value of the ticket purchased. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

10. Complaints

If you have a complaint about any aspect of your booking or event experience, please contact us by email to [email protected]. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 working days.

11. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to These Terms

NFBP reserves the right to update these terms and conditions from time to time. The terms in force at the time of your booking will apply to that booking.
